From Dream to Reality; From Vine to Glass
In 2007, a vineyard took root in the small rural town of New Prague, MN. With passion, perseverance, and the unwavering support of family and friends, the Tulloch family cultivated what would become Next Chapter Winery. In 2014, Jackie took a bold leap from her teaching career to fully immerse herself in the vineyard and winery, opening the Barrel Room Tasting Room that July. Each time a car slowly pulled into the driveway, her excitement grew—someone had discovered the winery! In 2019, she convinced her hardworking, auto-mechanic husband, Jeff, to join the adventure as Vineyard Manager and Winemaker, and together, they continued to nurture the winery’s growth. Thanks to their incredible team and the adventurous wine lovers and wedding couples who walked through their doors, Next Chapter Winery flourished. As of January 2025, Jackie and Jeff are the proud sole owners, driven by their dream: to pour love and happiness into every glass, celebrate life’s moments, and bring wedding dreams to life.

Most delicious cocktails EVER! I am totally hooked on the creamy, delicious vodka martinis & cocktails. Like dessert in a glass, SO good. Warm, inviting, and caring staff - very knowledgeable. Was very impressed at the wide selection of drinks available. The owners are also such sweethearts!

Absolutely AMAZING! Jackie and Jeff don't just provide a venue for your wedding, they treat you as family. Through the 1.5 year process Jackie answered our hundreds of questions so attentively, and with a solution to how we could always make our dreams a reality. When setting up both Jackie and Jeff jumped right in to help without being asked. The property is truly a diamond in the rough! I lost count of how many of our guests asked how we found this amazing location. Thank you to everyone at Next Chapter Winery for an evening we will remember for the rest of our lives!

Jeff and Jackie, the dynamic duo/venue owners/de facto wedding coordinators, are simply the best.I had a fusion wedding - two ceremonies - and a 200+ person confirmed guest list. Needless to say, it was big, and I was very very nervous. So much so, that I peppered Jackie and Jeff with questions for MONTHS in case things went wrong. Things didn't go wrong -- in fact, things went very very right! The day was beautiful, the venue was utterly charming (with plenty of unique spots for guests to mingle and relax as bride and groom/wedding party got lots of wedding pics), and Jeff and Jackie were extremely helpful in making sure everything went according to plan.And I have beautiful pics to prove it! Can't recommend them, or the venue, enough 🙂 Also, HIGHLY recommend the Blushing Bride wine!! It was my fave.

We got married at next chapter winery in June of 2024 and it was the ABSOLUTE best experience. Jeff and Jackie were amazing to work with and were so helpful, and more than exceeded our expectations. The venue is beautiful and the whole place is just a great atmosphere overall. Highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Next Chapter Winery in June 2024 and we had the best day thanks to Jackie and Jeff! The venue itself was so beautiful for our special day. We had a rainy wedding day so we mainly utilized the Barrel Room and Pavilion which turned out to be the perfect backdrop for photos and our ceremony. We were able to have the sides of the Pavilion up so the vineyard could be the backdrop for group photos and after our ceremony we were also able to sneak outside in a break of the rain to take photos in the vineyard.Jackie and Jeff constantly went the extra mile to make sure that things were running smoothly and checking in to see if we needed anything. We trusted their judgment on certain details and we are so glad they did what worked best in the space. We are so very thankful to have had their support leading up to our wedding and to celebrate with them on the big day.We will always recommend Next Chapter Winery to everyone not only because it is a beautiful space, but because Jackie, Jeff, and the staff make the experience over the top special.

I can’t say enough good things about Next Chapter Winery! I was able to use their venue for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner & wedding and each event went perfectly with the help of Jackie, Jeff & staff!They were so helpful and great with communicating to every question and change in plans I had.Even with rain on the wedding day the venue has so many options to still put on a beautiful ceremony when I couldn’t be outdoors. I truly can’t thank them enough for making my day so special.I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a venue for an upcoming event to check out Next Chapter Winery!

Have attended many events here the past several months, like trivia nights, 80's Prom, murder mysteries, and escape rooms. Owners and staff are great. They even let us bring our new puppy! We plan on coming in the warmer months, too, so we can sit outside.

Jackie and Jeff and the whole Next Chapter crew were amazing to work with!! They were so good at recommending other vendors when we were struggling to find them, answering our questions quickly and overall just going above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted! Not only are the crew great to work with, but Next Chapter Winery has so many wonderful places for you to take the most beautiful pictures as well! (Just look at how beautiful the rustic background is in this photo!! This is just one of several photo backdrop opportunities available at Next Chapter for your wedding!) Plus, you’re able to have everything there from getting ready in the bridal suite to the ceremony, to the reception, all included in your package!
